Publications and Resources for Your Customers
These resources are intended to help utilities educate customers on energy efficiency, provide tips they can use to reduce their electric bills and provide additional resources to encourage efficiency.

The Home Energy Calculator enables customers to enter details about their home, such as square footage, number of occupants and average temperature settings, as well as information on appliances and electronics.  The calculator determines the overall energy efficiency of the home by averaging details such as the age of refrigerators, whether the clothes dryer is powered by natural gas or electricity and the percentage of compact fluorescent lighting in the home.  The calculator estimates annual and monthly electric bills, and it rates overall efficiency on a scale of 1 to 10.
